A 501(c)(3)-ish janky idea
You know there’s more to life.
There’s also work tomorrow.
Rewire your patterns without leaving Brooklyn.
OCT 3–10, 2026 · BROOKLYN
Vibeawake is building the future of human flourishing, pending roommate approval.
Sleepawake 2 for everyone who didn’t get into Sleepawake 2.
Yes, this is real: participant-led gatherings in Brooklyn during October 3–10, while Sleepawake 2 is happening. We may do three or four sessions rather than meet every day, depending on what works for the group. Workshops and exercises are led by people taking part who feel called to share something. Bringing an idea or leading a session is optional.
Vibeawake is led by Jeff, some random Albanian man we found in a bodega, and Cat, the cat from the bodega. Neither knows they’re doing this.
“The more I think about Vibeawake, the more I think I might actually go to Vibeawake.”
The patterns that got you here will get you to Brooklyn.A very local theory of change
If you’re experiencing these things after Sleepawake, Vibeawake might be great for you.
- All your friends are Sleepawake people now. Your group chat has 47 people and one shared vocabulary.
- You’ve forgotten how to have a conversation that isn’t a check-in.
- You try to have a fight with someone who hasn’t done Sleepawake. They keep skipping the part where they reflect back what they heard.
- You’re open to their anger. You’d just prefer they use the format.
- You feel deeply understood by your community and increasingly baffled by your roommate.
- You went to one retreat. Somehow, everyone you date has been to it too.
If you’re reading this on behalf of a friend, that counts too.
Once these patterns stop serving you, they can be updated through lived experience — on a Tuesday, after work.

The fine print
When: October 3–10, 2026 is the window. We’re considering an opening Saturday, evening gatherings, and a closing Saturday afternoon—but may shorten this to three or four sessions rather than meet every day. We’ll shape the schedule around people’s interest and availability, then confirm the dates and times together.
Tuition: $7 for Vibeawake, toward shared snacks and supplies. Scholarships are available to those who need them, but spots are limited. Reach out to Myles and Mel to talk about your need and scholarship availability.
Room & board: Your own bed. Come from work. Leave smelling like yourself, not sage.
Bring: socks, a watch, notebook, water, and a snack to share if you can. Phones go in the bowl; time still exists.
Who it’s for: People who want to do Vibeawake in Brooklyn during Sleepawake 2. Interested in a few sessions but not the whole stretch? Please sign up too. Tell us how much you’d be excited for and what fits your calendar; you don’t need to commit to every day.
Locations: We’ll meet across Brooklyn. A home base is still TBD; Myles and Mel will share the locations before the week.

“Apply.” In the loosest possible sense.
There isn’t a formal application process. If you’d like to do Vibeawake in Brooklyn during October 3–10, let us know—even if you only want to come to a few sessions.
The schedule isn’t fixed yet. We may do three or four sessions instead of meeting every day. Your answers will help us figure out what people actually want and can make. Signing up here expresses interest; it isn’t a commitment to the whole week.
If you feel called to lead a workshop or share an exercise, we’d love to hear about it. It’s optional; you don’t need to lead anything to take part.
